Blink 182 returns with its original line-up for a tour that will take them around the globe

Blink 182 grabbed the music news by announcing the return of Tom DeLonge to the band’s lineup, featuring the original lineup again, but it wasn’t the only thing to break all the trends, as they confirmed their WORLD TOUR, which will take them on tour to all continents including unprecedented concerts in Latin America.

Blink has always been characterized as a rebellious band that broke with the paradigms of Nu-metal and hard rock that dominated the scene at the beginning of the 2000’s, their irreverent music became the anthem of the neo punk generation that appropriated the songs and turned them into anthems of their own lives.

Since its formation in 1992, the years when the rock scene was transformed into something simpler, without so much glamour or exaggerated hairstyles, simplicity was the key and the new dynamic of a darker generation where many took refuge.

Separations of explosive personalities

When geniuses come together the chaos of the perfect is created, where the work of the sublime is born and where all the parts are disassembled to separate and recreate the vital spark that moves the universe; Tom, Travis and Mark parted ways in 2005 and 2015 on good terms to each find their own way.

However, the collateral damage was suffered by all the fans who were left with the bittersweet taste of turbulent years where Blink was hidden by various personal problems of its members and although the work of Matt Skiba was excellent replacing Tom, the sound was never the same due to the lack of the powerful voice of the Californian.

But on October 11, the dynamics of silence changed.

In a fun video, Blink announced not only their new world tour, but the return of Tom, the missing piece of the puzzle that builds the voice of a generation, everything was a burst of emotions where the network collapsed to find out the cities where they will perform from March 11, 2023.

The unprecedented aspect of the situation is that dates were announced in cities where they have never performed before, which increased worldwide expectations; fans from Europe, South America, Australia and, of course, the United States will have the honor of seeing the performance they have been demanding for so long.

A new single called “Edging” will be released on October 14, where we will know the new proposal of a band that will take over 2023.
