Caifanes, Los Fabulosos Cadillacs, Café Tacuba, Molotov, Mon Laferte, Maná, Aterciopelados, Babasonicos, Zoé, Robi Draco and more will star in the Cordillera Festival with a line up never before seen in a single festival. On September 24 and 25, Bogota will experience an event that brings together the north and south of the continent in one place.

Bogota, September 2022 – The stages are already lit, the audience is euphoric and the bands are ready. Simon Bolivar Park opens its doors to welcome artists and fans from all over Latin America, demonstrating the importance and evolution of Bogota in the international music scene.

September 24 and 25 in the heart of Bogota

The home of the Cordillera Festival will be the historic Simon Bolivar Metropolitan Park. The heart of Bogota will once again welcome Latin American music legends that have defined the last three generations, more than 50,000 people are expected to gather to celebrate this enduring pride and the soundtrack that has accompanied it.  

“From Experiencias Aval we have put our hearts to bring, hand in hand with two great promoters of the country, Ocesa Colombia and Páramo Presenta, the first edition of the Cordillera Festival, which will be a tribute to the power of rock in Spanish where lovers of Latin sounds can enjoy the best exponents of the genre and be part of a festival whose premise is to be a sustainable space, being conscious and responsible with the environment.”

The Festival is a space committed to the environment from its roots: for each purchase, a tree will be planted in the Páramo de Las Cuchillas, in the Andes Mountains in the heart of Cundinamarca, with the support of the Al Verde Vivo Foundation. This initiative advocates for the recovery and conservation of the paramo in Colombia, the reforestation of High Andean Forest species and the planting of native trees in the upper basin of the Bogotá River, for each transaction made by the public.

Saturday, September 24 will see a fundamental encounter between the south and the north. Caifanes and the nerve of the volcano in the north and Los Fabulosos Cadillacs with the world rhythm from the south. Mexico and Argentina in a mind-blowing musical conversation that will be completed by Los Auténticos Decadentes and Molotov. Mon Laferte, Babasónicos and No Te Va Gustar.

On Sunday, September 25, the Festival will see an epic closing with three Mexican bands that marked three generations with their musical anthems: an unexpected return, a reunion of love and four roads. Maná, Zoé and Café Tacvba. Draco Rosa, Julieta Venegas, Piero Aterciopelados and Moenia will lift our spirits with timeless classics to dance, sing and embrace.

Bogota as the epicenter of Latin America

For Bogota, 2022 has become the most important year in terms of events, festivals like cordillera open a world of possibilities for an audience that has been getting used to being visited by the most important artists and bands in the world.
