The launch of Spider-Man Remastered on PC has proved to be a success for Sony, becoming PlayStation Studios’ second biggest release on Steam to date, behind only God of War.
As Eurogamer reports, Spider-Man’s launch on Steam has surpassed Horizon Zero Dawn and Days Gone, reaching an all-time high of 66,436 players according to SteamDB. God of War’s PC debut reached an all-time high of 73,529 players, while Zero Dawn and Days Gone achieved 56,557 and 27,450 respectively.
Following in Spider-Man’s footsteps is the spin-off title Miles Morales, which is expected to be released on PC later this year.
Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection could challenge both Spider-Man and God of War when it arrives on PC later this year: the Uncharted series had sold 41 million copies on PlayStation alone as of 2017.
