DC FanDome: See the revelations of Batman, Justice League Snyder Cut and more.

DC FanDome had its first glorious day, revealing some spectacular new images, including The Batman, Wonder Woman 1984 and The Justice League Snyder Cut. The second part of DC FanDome follows on September 12.

The event, aimed at DC Comics fans, features online panels, cosplay, fan art and comics, as well as special events for children. The devoted DC fan will be especially excited to see some long-awaited DC properties.

The Batman

Matt Reeves, director of The Batman, shared much more about the film in a fantastic interview, and also revealed a preview that looked pretty good, even though the film is only 30% shot at this time. The Batman stars Robert Pattinson from Twilight, with Zoë Kravitz as Catwoman. The film will be released until October 1, 2021.

Wonder Woman: 1984

An interesting panel that included Gal Gadot and Chris Pine, director Patty Jenkins to talk about the film and present us with a new trailer, the surprise was the participation of Lynda Carter the first wonder woman in the first TV series of the heroine.

The film will be released on October 2nd.

Justice League: The Snyder Cut

The DC Justice League film came out in 2017, but the original director Zack Snyder quit during the editing when his daughter died. Some fans were disappointed with the finished film that Joss Whedon (The avengers) took over, the end result left many league fans unhappy.

Snyder’s cut will be coming soon to HBO Max, and DC FanDome’s preview gave a glimpse of that long-awaited version, which will run in four one-hour parts. It will be released sometime in 2021, and Snyder promised fans outside the U.S. that they are working on a way to release it globally.

The Flash

The panel revealed Barry Allen’s new suit, which was made by Batman. Director Andy Muschietti and screenwriter Christina Hodson (who wrote Birds of Prey and Bumblebee) also confirmed that the sprinter’s film will feature Flash traveling back in time to change the DC Multiverse. It will be released sometime in 2022.

We also received indications that this opens the possibility of revisiting classic DC movies, with Danny Elfman’s Batman theme playing in the background. Concept art also showed Flash teaming up with Michael Keaton’s version of the Dark Knight: the 1989 Batman logo can be seen on his costume.

Suicide Squad

James Gunn revealed all the characters of his next film, The Suicide Squad. Idris Elba is playing Bloodsport; wrestler and actor John Cena plays Peacekeeper; and Saturday Night Live star Pete Davidson will play Blackguard.

He also shared a new preview consisting of some film footage and behind-the-scenes flashes from the movie.
